Yes. After GST and payment-processing costs, 60% of distributable membership revenue goes to the club and 40% goes to BYC. BYC funds all of its operating costs from its own share, so the club's 60% is not chipped away by platform fees. Clubs are paid monthly.

Your club decides — that is the point. Each club shares how supporter funding is being used through its BYC news and updates, so you can see your backing at work.

Your membership renews automatically each year at $99. We email a reminder before every renewal, and you can cancel any time from your member area or by contacting us.

You can cancel automatic renewal at any time, and your membership stays active until its expiry date. If something is not right with your membership, contact support and we will work it out.

It depends on the offer. Most local offers are redeemed by showing your digital membership card in store. Online offers use a member code, and the redemption details are spelled out on every offer.

Each offer shows its estimated value per use. When you redeem an offer, you record the use in your member area and it is added to your savings total. Savings are self-recorded and illustrative — they are not guaranteed.

Each business sets its own offer terms, and those terms always travel with the offer. Check the expiry date and any conditions before you redeem. Until partners are confirmed, businesses shown are clearly labelled as examples.

One "your club × BYC" bumper sticker is included with each new household membership — your club's crest and colours alongside the BYC mark, so everyone knows you back your club. Your club confirms collection or delivery details after you join.

There are two setup plans: $499 incl. GST Founding Club Setup, where your club recruits the local businesses with our templates and support, or $999 incl. GST for a Managed Launch where BYC recruits them for you. There is no annual platform fee after that.

No. No upfront payment from the club. Your setup fee is paid out of membership revenue as it comes in. Until it is cleared, your club's share goes towards the balance; once it is cleared, your club receives 60% of distributable membership revenue every month.

One low-risk offer your business is comfortable honouring, with clear terms. We provide ready-made terms templates, and an AI assistant can help you write a compelling offer from a rough idea.

If no other club is listed near you yet, we will hold this preference. When a nearby club joins BYC, we will email you to ask whether you would like your offer shown to that club's members too. Your offer is never shared with a new club without your approval.
